Expectation: One of the primary reasons why Enterprises choose Serverless Architecture is to keep the Total Cost of Ownership of the application low.

Reality: It is indeed true that Serverless Technologies cut off the precomputation cost, allow paying only for what we use, and get the server management overheads off. However, we need to consider the recurring operational cost that will add up to the TCO.
